Lundsgaard & Partnere assisted FSN Capital with arbitral disputes against the Warranty & Indemnity insurance as well as against the private equity seller following the acquisition of Gram Equipment. The cases were described as "the probably most spectacular dispute in the history between private equity firms" and "one of the largest, publicly announced claims paid under a W&I policy in recent memory".
FSN Capital received in April 2019 the full limit on the W&I insurance policy amounting to EUR 87 million from the seller of Gram.

Attorney Søren Lundsgaard teaches at JUC’s seminar on directors’ liability in financial institutions on 12 March 2018 together with Gitte Danelund, Financial Crime Manager at Nordea.
The seminar provides an overview of the demands made on the management of financial institutions through an insight into financial regulation as well as the practice of the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority and case law concerning directors’ liability. Furthermore, the seminar provides an overview of the framework, which forms the basis for the evaluation of the boards of directors in financial institutions by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, and which forms the basis of liability for the directors.

Søren Lundsgaard will be giving a speech at an event on the court cases in the wake of the financial crisis hosted by the trade organisation Djøf on 28 November 2017. The event focuses on the civil actions for damages – at the time of the event, judgments will have been delivered in the actions concerning the banks Capinordic Bank, Amagerbanken and Roskilde Bank – with a view to clarifying whether these have given rise to a new legal standard for management liability.
